I guess so, did you miss that there were 50 states in 1963 when you graduated and in 1959 when you might have been a freshman?
...is this actually my wife and you have stolen Razz's account Jehusus H Chryst, OK KY was 49 and AK was 50...happy now.
I feel like we are doing a Laurel and Hardy version of who's on first! Lol. AK is the abbreviation for Alaska, btw . And Bill Clinton went to school in a state ranked lower than yours in overall education at the same time as you did.
You right, AR. Bill graduated Hot Springs High School in 1963. Seems as if I remember Arkansas was below KY. Of course I remember other things totally wrong too.
Remember, a lot of us 'newbies' are just new to this site, not necessarily new to the hobby. I'm quite new to this page but have been collecting for over 50+ years so, I do have 'some' knowledge........Just sayin'!
LOL, I'm sorry, that comment of having "some" knowledge made me think of some "discussions" on this site, and I almost sprayed coffee over my notebook. How low can we go? I believe the competition has been very stringent at times, JMHO
As someone else who went to school in Kentucky, his comment made perfect sense to me. 10th grade History class, most of the students couldn't point out Kentucky on a map of the United States. You expect them to know how many states there were?
You haven't missed much. A member named @MeowtheKitty insisted upon staying in character as a cat in his posts, and referring to himself in the third person, which terribly annoyed a lot of people. I see it as a harmless affectation, myself, though others will likely disagree and see it as a symptom of the downfall of society or something. It takes all kinds to make a community, and we've got all kinds here. Including, it would seem, one cat who has mastered the skill of typing. Which is impressive, considering how every time my cats walk across the keyboard, they type something like "89yq3tpihaes0". Meow is still with us. Hi, Meow. I happen to like cats, so it's all good. Here's some tuna fish for you. Just eat it in the other room, pretty please. I don't care for the smell of it.
I was critical of @MeowtheKitty at first, thinking he was some sort of troll, but over time, the guy asked intelligent questions and contributed reasonable responses, so I was wrong in my assessment of him. Yeah, it takes a little getting used to, but when you understand he's just a collector/numismatists like the rest of us, it's a non-issue IMO.
