I think this may be a mint error because I have one exactly like that with the slightly raised circle in the middle if this was ground down how would two different people Some how grind down the two coins in the same exact way Unless it was something that Happens every now and then at the mint
How do I add them I tried pasting them right to the post and I tried and I tried hitting the picture button I’m new to this site

Don't you see the obvious grinder marks? That did not occur during the minting of the Nickel. It's post mint damage just like the first nickel shown. Just because there is more than one example does not make it a Mint Error. Some crazy person or persons have been altering coins the same way for years.
Sorry I’m not a coin collector I just have never seen a coin like this and it made sense to me I thought it was ground down too the only thing that made me post was seeing two exactly alike
Thank you I thought so at first too just wanted to double check seeing as there was two examples not a coin collector I don’t know much about coins what I did know is I didn’t want to spend a hundred dollar nickel lol (but it isn’t )
Here is one I found. Looks to be ground/machined towards the centerline. But you can see where it was incorrectly pressed. Im not sure what to think.
That did not occur at the US Mint. It wasn't pressed. It was hit with a grinder. Read the entire thread and you will understand.
