Hola everybody thanks for stopping in. I wanted to share my Coinstar find yesterday at a Walmart. So far its my 2nd silver find. I keep telling people it is possible to find silver in these machines. You just have to be persistent and patient. My other coin was a silver Canadian quarter 1962. Thanks so much for stopping in and can't wait to see your pics . Bsafe and Happy Hunting
Not bad. There’s a whole giant thread on the CRH subforum. my best coin star find was 50 silver dimes - an entire roll. second best was when the machine had a malfunction and kept spitting coins out. $25 in change later it finally stopped
Feel free to start a thread whenever you find something interesting, of course, but instead of asking others to post their finds here, it's probably better to point to the thread @hotwheelsearl mentioned: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/reject-tube-coinstar-finds.201092/
Omg id b 2 scared lol 2 b taken all those coins...iv only had almost $2 of coins in the return and even then I was like OMG someone is pranking me...lol I was shaking when I saw that much in the return tray
Nice find. OK, ready? Here goes. Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... A bobby pin... Nothing... Nothing... This treasure... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... *Actually, I did not take a photo of my treasured find, so I borrowed a picture of a similar coin from another thread.
How do you get coins out of Coinstar machines? I thought you were supposed to put them into the machine.
The reject tray. Many people don't hear them drop due to all of the noise the machine makes while counting your change, and then they don't think to check for rejects.
My last two finds were: 12¢, a Canadian dime and two zincoln's. Then the Austrailan 5¢ coin on a second trip to town.
Once found 12 bucks Canadian. And not talking any looneys. Well maybe one. Not sure. Was with my grand daughter. She’s hooked. Calls even if she finds a dime or less. So proud
I love finding foreign coins iv only ever found a silver Canadian quarter...after looking it up...was surprised it was less silver than our coins 80%
