Hope all of you are having a wonderful day! Recently I've been going through all the old coin collecting books me n' my father have been filling in over the years, as well as our collection of non-booked coins that are just sitting in bowls. Well, in one of the quarter books it was the 1965 Washington Quarter that caught my attention. Now, im 95% confident that this is a DDR but you can never be sure without an experts opinion. Also, a source of greater magnification was required. Here's a few photos with arrows to show location: And you already know my next question lol. If it is a DDR, would it be worth it to send to PCGS? I would guess the quality of the coin would be a MS 64-65? Much appreciated!!
If you need a photo from a certain angle or with different lighting or less zoom, just let me know and I'll be happy to do so!
Not a doubled die. My advice, don't send it in. It is not money-conscious to submit, and when this comes back it won't be worth half the fee.
