1965 Washington Quarter DDR

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day!

Recently I've been going through all the old coin collecting books me n' my father have been filling in over the years, as well as our collection of non-booked coins that are just sitting in bowls. Well, in one of the quarter books it was the 1965 Washington Quarter that caught my attention. Now, im 95% confident that this is a DDR but you can never be sure without an experts opinion. Also, a source of greater magnification was required.

And you already know my next question lol. If it is a DDR, would it be worth it to send to PCGS? I would guess the quality of the coin would be a MS 64-65?

DDD in my opinion so you'd be wasting your $ to send it in.

 

Not a doubled die. My advice, don't send it in. It is not money-conscious to submit, and when this comes back it won't be worth half the fee.

 

It's a common form of doubling but it's not a Doubled Die.

 

Where did MS 64-65 come from. I can't see it.

 

I originally put 60-64 but changed it due to me wishing it was better than that
