Maybe the bidders are Mexican and they think they are bidding in Mexican Pesos? :wacky:...

Only one listed on ebay, with just 2 in the sold category. Yes some of the libertads have very low mintages.

Even given a low mintage, It really looks like a botched strike (See Aztec calendar at 11:30-1:30, 6:00 & on the Obv. Legs, Breast & 'M' positions, WTF?) Having 'dipped my toe' into collecting Mexican 20th century gold mintages, I've never seen 'toning' like that on any Mex. gold coins.
Live and learn, I guess, or...?

Addendum: My Harper: '2019 Coins of North America' CV KM#628 is $250 in MS65 W/ no mintage quoted!

I have several Mexican Gold coins none of which have that dull tone look that yours has. Let the experts chime in for a better opinion. Good luck.

Dang, I love Mexican Gold coins but I'm completely lost on this sale. It's up to $920 now! :D

Last one sold for $710....these just aren't selling as bullion coins, even if the price guides haven't realized that yet.
