I'd say South India, secluded from all the dramas of North India until the British came, it's the reason why the region was never famous even among the Indian hobbyists let alone international collectors, barring the Cholas! The fact that the Pandyas alone ruled from ~300 bc to all the way to the early 17th century shows their resilience.

I really like collecting half groats of Edward III, which puts me in a rather small group, maybe even the only one, on this forum.

I have a penchant for Faustina I coins with veiled busts. This one is the middle bronze equivalent of the sestertius I have previously posted.

Rev: PIETAS AVG S C, Pietas, veiled, draped, standing left, dropping incense out of right hand over lighted "candelabrum-altar," left, and holding box in left hand.

...mmmMaybe this could be good enough for both the preceding criteria.
COINS, FRANCE, LOUIS IX, GROS, OBV..jpg COINS, FRANCE, LOUIS IX, GROS, REV..jpg
France, Louis IX, AR gros, c. 1265-1270.
I need all of the religious rhetoric, even if I have to hold my nose about some aspects of the immediate historical context. For instance, how the reverse evokes a rose window, just as Louis' Sainte-Chapelle was nearing completion.

Oh, (mild expletive, except, Capitalized)! Thank you, @Roman Collector. I Always forget that part.
...Um... How about anything with any kind of religious motif, about which you might harbor some degree of ambivalence, but which you still find resonant.
....Or, maybe I've been in the house too long. What about anything 13th c. ACE? Thank you, from Anywhere.

Ptolemy V bronze coinage with helmet or herm - bronze weight standard 2

    Helmet Series
∎ References: Svoronos 1635, pl. liv, 18-19 [10 listed]; Köln 162 (Ptolemy VI).

    upload_2020-10-10_17-12-12.png

This issue was probably struck at a mint other than Paphos, due to the substitution of a helmet symbol or a herm for the lotus blossom mintmark. The substitution of a helmet for the lotus blossom mintmark might place these coins in the context of the Fifth Syrian War.

The Helmet Series conforms to the metrology and denominational system of Series 3-5 employed in Egypt from the latter 260s until the end of the third century, which remained the standard for Cypriote bronzes through the reign of Ptolemy VI. The discovery of a specimen of triobol size (33mm, c 36g) at Fethiye (ancient Telmessus) favors a date of issue no later than 197, when Antiochus III seized the Ptolemaic territories in southern Asia Minor.

This is more than a chip, but less than an obvious instance of a cut fraction. And, yep, it's medieval. Hope it skates in under the wire.

An interesting contrast with the reverse of my Francis I city thaler, also from Regensburg (= Ratisbon), dated 1754:
