They jacked your thread with off topic stuff. What they are posting are not real coins. Feelings run deep on the topic of someone being able to make these and sell them. I like some of his original work. Some great art. The guy has skills. The stuff hits the fan with his products that look just like a real US coin but carry a date that the US mint did not make. Folks are never going to agree on this topic.
The OP also didn't mention that he overbid on the coin in the first post. We had no idea what this thread was about until a few post above. It just turned into a photo gallery of sorts . . . . Z
Hey, where can one find the 1964 and 1970 Peace Dollar Fakes?? Seriously, I would like to have one of each.
My wife and I collect the 1964 and 1970 dates and I think they would be interesting additions, even though I knew they were fake.
I imagine the only way to make this caliber is to actually have a press and dies. Am I wrong? This person strikes better coins than the mint.
