    For awhile at least. Lol This is the last one I bought for $5.00. It's an 1839 Matron Head Large Cent. There were 3,128,661 minted and there are several varieties.

    It's worn but I believe it to be known as the Silly Head variety. The lock of hair on the forehead and the hair covering the tip of her neck in back. It's a common variety but nice to have. Of course it has a few dings but atvthe price I paid, who cares? Lol

    does look like silly head with the crack along the neck.
