Hello everyone I am new here. I’ve been a casual collector all 43 years of my life and have a 21-year-old son who is trying to get into it. We have this coin and I would like opinions if it’s damage or if it was done at the mint. I have very limited knowledge admittedly. Guessing it was damaged in circulation but still kind of cool since it’s symbolic of his untimely demise . Also, I apologize first if I have not formatted this right
twice gouged. Down the middle and over the back of the head. probably upstrokes as the inside of the rim on the top (above the E and to the right of the R are nicked).
