I have an Altoids tin that I keep one dollar bills in. Kinda like saving spare change.
You have a nice start kid. Keep it up! :)

I used a couple of Altoids tins to hold any new "50 state quarters" I would find in my pocket change. Need to go back and take a look at how many I have. I only kept the ones that were in good condition.

You have a very good start there...I don't have a tin to keep change in but all of my various "this and that" coins go in 2x2s and into a 3 ring binder.

Back in the 1970s I started my coin collecting, or coin hoarding. lol
I used about any containers - coffee containers, chewing tobacco containers, tootsie rolls, etc.
I have yet to actually looks through them for anything. This box is probably from the mid to late 1970s. It all started when I dug up a mercury dime while my parents were digging holes for fence posts. That dime is my avatar.

and people think the coin shortage is due to Covid .. LOL

I have jars and jars of pennies and quarters too, and ammo boxes of nickels/dimes.

There some pictures of some poster who uses 55 gallon drums to store their coins. lol and I recall one picture of stacks of burlap bags or something sitting on a row of safes in their garage.

but you've started and that's the fun part.
