Should I win, I would use my credit towards the 1917 SLQ. I bought a sealed SLQ Dansco album this week to start filling with my son, @Azjedi

My Dad @Rob9874 bought a Indian head and early Lincolns roll and it came today and we had fun looking through it.

This post (#65) is the entry post for rob9874 on Collectors Universe.

You will note that this is in addition to Post #63, above, which he posted under his CoinTalk credentials here.

That's a totally legit play, BTW. One post per member per forum. So if any of you are also members of Collectors Universe, you may double your chances by posting one additional entry post in the tandem giveaway thread over there.

This post (#66) is the entry post for Azjedi on Collectors Universe, who also posted here just above in Post #64 under his CoinTalk credentials, thereby doubling his chances in the drawing.

With the @Rob9874/@Azjedi father/son combo each posting an entry on each site, there will be four chances that someone in that household will win in the drawing!

Every individual may post two entries. One here and one on CU.

I'll rely on the honor system to trust that nobody uses sock-puppet alternate IDs to cheat the system. Having one of those is an automatic ban on CoinTalk anyway.

As grandparents, we get to occasionally help our grandkids with their homework, especially given the current situation. Among other things, today our 5-year old needed to label the different US coins.

Seeing an opportunity here, I also taught her how to note the date, identify the mint mark and grade them. You can’t get them started too soon. :)

P.S. - I really messed-up my first attempt at posting this ... I really hope it has just self-destructed somewhere in the bowels of the computer and will never see the light of day. I must need to take my nap now.

Entry Post. Love obsolete denominations. The 2 cent was the one I really wanted when I started collecting.[IMG]

Sorry bout that LordM. Yes, that is the one I saw. That’s what I get for multi tasking! Getting too old to do more than one thing at a time!

Don’t feel bad- you’re not the first person to somehow accidentally wander into my personal collection and select one of the coins there as a giveaway prize!

I do try to be generous, but there are limits to that generosity. ;)

But hey, that just means you have good taste, right? :)

I wish I could afford to give away three-figure coins every month!

But $25 a month, I reckon I can handle. It’s better than spending that on cable TV or some of that other stuff I don’t need or care about.

@Kliao - I share your enthusiasm for odd denominations. Check this out... and this. Wish I still had 'em. My budget is a bit more modest these days.
