Place your cell phone on a soup can, coffee mug etc. Choose x2, forget the macro function, on the screen. Raise the coin on something until it is in full, clear focus. When downloaded to your PC crop out all unnecessary background. Then post it as you just did in Full Image.
I appreciate all your comments and help. Like I said I'm basically just separating all these for my grandchildren but it seems pretty addictive. I've noticed some coin collectors can be kinda rude in given any information or help. If I were them I would always keep in mind if someone had something worth value, they may share in their wealth , for the friendly advice ... I know I would !! thanks again for all the comments and help.
You're welcome. I said face value because they are common and a coin dealer might offer you $.015 cents each if you had a bulk amount to sell.
I agree with the members that said damage only as you can see the 4 in the date also was damaged along the same arc. Most likely an old coin counter or cent gum ball machine., common in the 40s and early 50s. IMO, Jim
Yeah I'm not really looking to sell any. Just trying to get them all a little organized, but I came across that one and didn't know where to put it LOL I have probably 400 wheat pennies to go through. Among a ton of other coins. I'm not a collector and know nothing about it at all. I just sit and look at all these coins and think there has to be something good in these ? But who knows not me for sure. Do you have any suggestions on how to organize them properly for my grandchildren? This is what I'm doing so far. And again thank you so much for your friendly nice help.

What are you using to check the coins out ? Might need a magnifier or inexpensive loop ( approx. $10 at Walmart ) . Some even come with a light. Just a suggestion, no pressure.
No thank you so much. Im not really looking at them at this point except for just putting them with the date and the letter on them . Then I may go back and look at them. What you're talking about they have at Walmart is that what coin collectors use. Or would it be best to order a better one offline. ?
