I'm thinking about getting some coin software. Any suggestion? I just collect US coins of all types colonial to present. Another question would be where to start I do have a good collection so I would think it would take some time to complete it.

Yeah, get Excel (or Open Office's clone) and make a spreadsheet. Works great for me.

p.s. For the record, Peace dollars are way cooler than the flat, boring Morgan design. :)

I dont want excel. I've been reading about the software that updates your coin prices as you continue your subscription with them. A on going tally would be cool to have so I know what I got at any time.

If you don't mind paying for it, Coin Elite is a great program.
It's the easy way out of building a sheet in Excel.

    "Coin Manage"

I bought "Coin Manage" software a couple of weeks ago. So far it works great. I bought it on Ebay, but I downloaded the trial version from their website first. It does take up a lot of memory with jpg images of coins.

It is not Excel or a spreadsheet. It is MS Access file. also inexpensive

See the software Hertiage offers then. It will be more accurate anyway.

That is good! We can combine both Quarterly threads into ONE thread now. Then we might as well make it sticky so that in 3 months we won't have to create a new one! :goofer:
