Oh, you're right. I was looking at the percentages, which are thrown off by the + and * options.

I would give it an AU50. There is a lot of wear on the coin.

The frequency distribution (Throwing out the AU 53, and MS 64 and 65 grades was between AU 58, and MS 62. 75% of the guesses were in that range—as I said, a typical slider distribution.

I can grade coins lol. Just check my gtg results as a rule. As being able to grade a raw coin and get it graded or a graded coin and get a cac bean is a source of profit for me

I found your response to be informative. And I think you should post the way you want if you are not being rude or insulting. I don’t know your other posts, but this one is neither. But I would also advise you to not worry about a “yawn” or something similar. I would ignore it. Everyone on here has a different mood, opinion, etc.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I am always trying to dive deeper and discuss the coin. I love GTGs , but it seems the vast majority just post a single number and don't describe what they are seeing or why they graded the coin the way they do.

In this particular thread, there was a culmination of personality conflicts. The OP, Morgandude11, has had an issue with me over several threads in recent history. I have responded openly and honestly, with no ill-will and no agenda against him. However, he thought that I was condescending and long-winded, he didn't like my style, and he doesn't like the way I respond to his posts. I've no idea why he doesn't like me, but I respect it.

So, I've put him on ignore and I won't see his posts and won't respond to his posts. He can live his life completely content knowing that I won't ever respond condescendingly to him again (and, I won't ever respond to him again at all).

Excellent!!! Bye! Don’t need a fun hobby to be stressful in the midst of a pandemic. I would have been willing to resolve any dispute privately, but I doubt you would want to take that method towards resolution.

@physics-fan3.14 I wish you didn't put the OP on your ignore list. I find your replies very informative. I'd rather hear an explanation of why you arrived at the grade you did than just a simple grade. If somebody doesn't like the style of your replies, they don't have to read them. I feel it's unfair by all of us to censure anything said by you or any member unless it's a violation of Coin Talk's rules. I'm not taking sides in this because there's something for me to learn from all of you. Peace. :)

MDUDE...I’m laughing that you give a 5th graders response with “excellent” and “bye“ and all those exclamation points and then you righteously say you would Have takin the high ground with handling it privately.

    Come on man! Lol

On a side note I missed the grade bad!

Privately, Mr. 11? Perhaps you don't recall, but you called me "condescending" and "pompous" with an "attitude." I've linked your posts above, as a reminder. If you wanted to resolve something, you should have followed your own advice instead of calling me names on the open forum.

And, I did resolve the issue. Instead of responding in kind, I simply said that due to personal conflicts, I've put you on ignore and won't be responding to any more of your threads. I did this for the exact reason you mentioned - I don't want to deal with stress during what's supposed to be a fun hobby. Maybe on my next periodic review of my ignore list I'll take you off ignore and we can try again.

(had to see what Mr. 11's response was after the Gmen pointed it out.... had to respond once I saw it)

Fine, no problem. I tried to make peaceful resolution. Life goes on.
