I'm not trying to be pompous. I'm trying to thoroughly explain what I see and describe the condition of the coin. I'm not trying to come off as condescending, I'm trying to help others understand what's going on with the coin. I will refrain from posting on your threads from now on, since you clearly don't care for my style.
What's more useful: a paragraph or two explaining what I'm seeing and why I grade the coin the way I do, or simply stating "AU-55"? One of these seems far more interesting to me. Clearly you disagree.
Brevity is what I try to practice in my responses. My opinion is your response was a bit over the top. This modified response would have been better, in my opinion. Just trying to help.
I find peace dollars difficult to grade because of the quality of the strike and my poor eyesight, however, I try.
