This beautiful what I am calling a starburst rainbow type Lincoln cent has an impression on the reverse that I can't make out. It is at an angle across the ONE and Cent. Flowing from north to south. Any thoughts on what this might be? Also how popular are rainbow coins, and do you think this one is a seller or keeper. If this is in the wrong area I am sorry please move it. Thanks
I am seeing what appears to be a linear plating issue. Does not add any value to the coin, but wait for the others to chime in. Even if you like the toning, remember, it's a Lincoln made of zinc and this will continue to tone. The other marks on the coin are distracting. It's worth to me is only one cent. IMHO.
The toning isn't enough for anyone to pay too much for it. Like maybe 5¢. As for the reverse, it looks like some kind of plating issue.
