I ordered three coins last week, all on the same day. One was from Russia. One was from Norway. One was from Pennsylvania. All shipped via Fedex.

Which one do you think arrived first? (Poll is arranged by distance from my house, so as to not influence votes)

I am guessing there was a hoo-doo in shipping. The obvious answer in Pennsylvania to South Carolina. But I am guessing that one hit a snag and the Norway coin arrived first.

Most unlikely, but that's my guess too.

The Russia coin arrived first. It travelled more then the other two.

I had an order from Sweden arrive within about 36 hours, once, to my utter astonishment. I had initially grumbled about the seller's $20-something shipping charge, not realizing they would use FedEx and it would arrive in the blink of an eye (relatively speaking) from Scandinavia.

Ooh, I say Russia because it is so counterintuitive otherwise why would you make a poll out of this?

The answer probably isn't Pennsylvania, but I just waited over a week for Heritage to get a coin from Europe.

On the other hand I sent a check in an envelope to Michigan which didn't get there for two and a half weeks. I finally gave up and paid for the purchase with credit card, which cost me more money.

Yup, that's exactly what happened. The coin from Norway arrived first.

The Russian coin is held up in customs (often happens, usually clears after a few days).

And I have no idea why the coin from Pennsylvania is taking so long.

Now if we can just figure out what NGC is doing with my ancients, which were received on July 21st and are still stuck in limbo on the cusp of October.

I did get the images weeks ago, so apparently their photo department is not as backlogged.

Won a coin from the recent CNG auction , took 8 days to get from Pennsylvania to Providence.
Bought a coin from Norway early spring , took 2 months to arrive.

I am told the delays were all due to COVID virus precautions.
I guess one can reason that either the Russian mail system is extremely efficient , or they have no regard at all for virus precautions.

I would say Russia. The way the post office here got screwed over. You are probably
lucky to get the coin at all!!

I'm guessing Norway. The package from Pennsylvania likely went through Russia on its way to you.
