I had no idea Bitcoins were being slabbed until I saw this token last night at a Great Collections auction . This token really looks bizarre but the portrait of Athena is very attractive . The token sold for $15,188.62 ! The current market value of a Bitcoin is $10,886.48 .

Seems like ANACS are the TPG to go to for slabbing of token items as such.

 

The cost of slabbing an item like this must be shocking . All the Bitcoins issued by the Titan Mint come with a certificate of authenticity that you can verify online, so why the need to slab them ?

 

Why do people like to eat slabs of bacon? Because they are delicious.. Some people feel that slabbed coins or tokens are yummy!

You don't need to get these slabbed to sell them online, they come with numbered certificates of authenticity so they can be verified online. The collector who bought this Bitcoin from G.C. paid a huge premium over it's actual value.
