I have found in my holdings 4 each 1958 D with RPM-001. Note that they all have the same die scratch on the right interior of the bottom part of the 8. This same die scratch is visible on the 8 shown in Variety Vista. Trust me, there are 4 different coins shown here.

Very nice, this is one that has eluded me. Congrats! They appear to be in great condition.

Well, thank you. I have had them since 1958 and didn't know it. I'm still getting around to the stuff I accumulated over the last 70 plus years.

    Inspector,

There also seems to be an anomaly to the interior portion on the bottom right aspect of the upper section of the eight. I notice this in all of your four coins as well.

Is there such a thing as a repurposing of the date as there is the mint mark?... An RPD, I suppose.

Yes. It is very slight. Thanks for noticing it. I looked a Variety Vista and RPM-001 seems to confirm that. As far as repurposing the date I think it has been done, but not as often as mint marks. Perhaps there are experts out there that can help here.
