I thought this was interesting given the portraiture of Alexander on the silver tetradrachms issued by him and the diadochoi in later times... https://greekcitytimes.com/2020/09/22/artist-uses-ai-to-recreate-face-of-alexander-the-great/
Is he supposed to have eyes of two different colors? I know that is a mutation that some people have, but it is rare.
I knew a gal who was Chimera, twins in the same body, that had each of her eyes of different color. Blue and Hazel. Different, but you got used to it after working with her. It was actually pretty cool.
If Jeff Spicoli and Wayne Gretzky had a love child, it would be Alexander the Great. He would be a pretty great hockey player, but he would be high all the time.
LOL, yeah, he liked his wine parties (high), and loved the fighting (hockey). Yeah, your comment is accurate.
Funny story. I once took my three young sons to a Nashville Predators hockey game. I think it was the first game of the season. They had never been to a hockey game before. Now, the Nashville fans have a mildly profane habit of screaming “you s*ck“ after each opposing player is introduced. The boys thought that was funny. But apparently there was some bad blood between The Preds and whoever they were playing (it may have been the Dallas Stars) from the year before. Which means as soon as the first puck was dropped, the guys threw the sticks down and just started punching. They wailed on each other for about a full minute. The kids were stunned. I remember thinking, “This is either the worst thing I’ve ever done as a father, or it is the greatest thing I’ve ever done as a father.”
So cool!... that I created this thread on it yesterday https://www.cointalk.com/threads/a-i-meets-a-t-g-and-dude-was-my-doppelganger.367348/
I was never into sports as a kid, as much as my dad tried to get me into them, but my best friend growing up, I had been playing his hockey video games with him on the SNES and after he explained how it worked, the rules and such, I was hooked. I was more into the Penguins, him the L.A Kings. We ended up going to many hockey games together and had a lot of fun, even playing street hockey on occasion. We grew apart when he got into trouble in his late teens but still converse on Facebook to this day. He's still a hardcore sports fan, hockey, and football especially.
