I'm thinking about sending this to PCGS. Pros or Cons?

They won’t certify it. Don’t waste time and money.

I believe that is the Walking Liberty 2016 Centennial Gold 1/2 oz coin from the US Mint. PCGS will certify it. However, it's likely not worth it (70s on eBay aren't going for that much more than raw to be worth the expense of grading and the downside of receiving a 69 or lower grade).

Thought it was a reproduction token. Oh, then it is just one of the Mint’s recent issues. 69 or 70. Makes no difference, and not worth certifying.

Do you have all the original mint Packaging? If so I think that long term those will be worth more.

I'm going to take your advice and keep it in the OGP. Thank you all for your advice.
I think I'll get my Mexican Veinte Pesos Gold Coin slabbed instead.

The very best grader is yourself unless you plan to sell it that is.

I was lucky enough to get the gold trio in 2016. They are beautiful to me. I opened it once to make sure all was there. All three are in their original packaging with the return paperwork. I really lucked up on the Mercury Dime. The Mint was sold out in just a few seconds/minutes, but someone must have had an invalid credit card. I stayed on the Mint's website because I knew they might have a few sales cancelled and sure enough, it showed up and I bought it immediately. I put them in outer boxes to protect them. I also got lucky on the 2009 MMIX UHD gold coin. It, too, is in the original USM box and also in the shipping box to protect it. Anyone want to sell me any of the 2016 Commemorative Gold coins, let me know. I'm easy.
