1943 Jefferson Nickel Dubbl-eye / 3 over 2?

Xperfectx Forgive me, I am new here and curious.

I discovered this potential combination in an old Nickle book I inherited. From what I can observe both the double eye die and date 3 over 2 is present. Thoughts? If this is legitimate, how can I determine value? 20200924_043218~3.jpg 20200924_043227~2.jpg

Looks normal to me.. Worth? 5 cents

Question.. Which one is it? Nickel or Nickle?

This is a 3 over a 2. It is very sharp and distinct, even worn and to the naked eye. I'm not seeing that on yours. The nickel you posted has a very small bump in that area but it's not sharp, even with magnifying it. In the overdate variety the 2 is part of the 3, not a very small bump under the 3. I see no signs of the Doubled eye either, also distinct.

Worth about a dollar for the silver wouldn't you say? I had to blow the photo up to see the P.

Nope. Not anything besides a normal War Nickel. Like @Nolan Workman said, worth $1.29 melt value as of today.

I know and yours is very nice. I have so many coins I want to buy but I'm just not finding them. I keep buying what comes along that I like.

Thanks. I avoid that place. I use a few auctions, my LCS and several online coin retailers. I have strong relationships with all of them and I have patience.
