1972P DDO-006

    Came across this guy last night in my box of cents. At first, I thought it was another DDO-003 but after looking a little closer, I am pretty sure it is 006. The spread on the date is much larger on 003 vs 006 and this one does not have the large spread on the date. Sorry for the garbage USB microscope pictures.

    If so, it’s a 003 stage C. Plus the doubling in the O of God looks like the 003 to me.

    I'm gonna put it back under the loupe. I have a 006 in my binder to compare it to. Just buried behind a billion bags of searched coins lol.

    I would check for die markers on VV, CC and Wexlers. They sometimes have different markers and die stages listed.
