I cracked this 41s Mercury from an ANACS Blue Holder (pictured), and PCGS graded it MS66FB, with S/S variety designation.

I thought it would be interesting to take guesses on what the grade was when it was in the ANACS holder.

MS66FB with S/S designation was the grade from PCGS, after I cracked and submitted. That is the grade associated with the TrueView. I just clarified the sentence.

Guess the grade when it was in the ANACS holder.

Grading by ANACS in the blue label era was known to be loose so I'll guess 67

I sense a trick question so I'll say UNC Details - Questionable Color (or whatever they use).

Haha . . . I will give you a second guess. It is not details, questionable color, cleaned, etc. It is a straight grade.

The quick-release holders were from the "new day at ANACS", where they were supposed to have suddenly become more stingy with grades, so I'll say just 65.

I've only bought one coin from ANACS. It is a Franklin Half and it is gorgeous. I know most of you guys praise PCGS and NGC, but if other coins they've graded are as good as the one I have, I would say MS68*
