Some people collect Tokens like that but I don't, maybe they're worth a couple bucks each, idk. Let someone else in the know answer this question, could be they know more than I do.
If I had to guess, your Barry Goldwater medal was probably sold as a campaign souvenir or by a campaign associated group. Nonetheless, it seems to be quite common from what I could gather based on sold eBay listings. https://www.ebay.com/sch/Exonumia/3452/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Barry+Goldwater&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=3452&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&LH_Auction=1&LH_BIN=1&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=37129&_sargn=-1&saslc=1&_salic=1&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50&LH_Complete=1&_fosrp=1
What metal are they made of? Looks like colorized aluminum but can't really tell. As a memento, I'm sure someone would pay a few bucks for them. I think I'd list them on eBay starting at 99¢ and see where it goes.
They're colorized something... aluminum or plastic. The city token seems to be made of brass. I'm probably just going to toss them into a batch of tokens and sell as a group.
