I suppose I'll show off my avatar coin :D

1000-1300 CE (Circa) AV 1.16 Massa 'Sandalwood' 'Ma in Nagari script' 0.16g 5mm S3 Combined.png
    Srivijaya Kingdom of Sumatra
    c. 800-1300 CE
    AV 1/16 Massa (¼ Kupang) | 0.16 grams | 5mm | scyphate shape
    Obv: Incused sandalwood flower motif
    Rev: Nagari script ma
Note: This is technically an electrum series, an example was XRF tested by Ronachai Krisadaolarn in The Evolution of Thai Money (2016), found to be 74% gold, 21.5% silver, 3.5% copper, and 1% iron. Other Sumatran "gold" coins regularly include significant amounts of silver.
Next: Your avatar/icon coin (or what would be, if you don't use a coin)

@DonnaML, so Help us! What Is this, just exactly? Cool, whatever it is, but I'm still clueless.

Okay, here's mine. And for pics, with apologies, all I can find is the obverse.
    COINS,BOURGOGNE,HUGHIV,OBV.jpg
France, Duchy of Burgundy, Hugues IV, 1218-1272. (Funly consonant with Henry III of England, especially since both reigns began with minorities. --Awkward?)
Obv. (Beginning with the legend; you'll find out why in a second or two: )
    +VGO BVRGVNDIE. In field: DVX.
This was also the basis of my user name, by way of a bad pun --regretted more or less ever since, especially since @Valentinian, after he succeeded into talking me into joining this forum, made a serious, good-faith effort to talk me out of it.
...So, Right, instead of 'VGO DVX,' there's 'VGO DUCKS.' What only makes it worse is that, just regarding the pronunciation, it probably isn't a match even to medieval Latin. Kinda dumb....

I had to look that up! I thought it was a fancy way to say he was DRUBBING or beating on his troops! :)

    I hate spellcheck.

I was going to say i hit the wrong key - but the letter B is nowhere near the letter S on the key board. I guess I'll have to chalk it up to the late hour or just to my extremely poor spelling!.

Ya gotta love this forum. Most days I learn something here. Like "adlocutio". Fascinating!

@DonnaML, @TuckHard gave us a good clue, but Thanks for that! Very cool. ...Finding something in the way of a Pharoahnic amulet or (even) scarab has been an aspiration forever. Lately I've been picking up some grudging respect for the 26th Dynasty. Your example accelerated the trend!

Yow! A quintessential Julio-Claudian sestertius, if I ever saw one. Seamlessly translating Roman monumentality into the medium. And The Great Tom Cederlind! Met him when I was going to school near Portland, either side of 1980.

I had been on the lookout for one of these lion quadriga coins for some years:

Domna MATER AVGG Cybele Lion Quadriga Denarius.jpg
    Julia Domna, AD 193-217.
    Roman AR denarius, 3.30 g, 19 mm, 6 h.
    Rome, 21st emission, AD 205.
Obv: IVLIA AVGVSTA, bare-headed and draped bust, right.
Rev: MATER AVGG, Julia Domna, as Cybele, seated left in quadriga of lions and holding branch in her right hand.
    Refs: RIC 562; BMCRE 48; Cohen/RSC 117; RCV 6592; Hill 759; CRE 354.

Next: Vehicle drawn by something other than horses.

Wow, @Roman Collector, that's just amazing. Never heard of the type before. Almost as if she was type-casting herself...?

I turn it off on all of my devices. It forces me, being severely dyslexic, to take care when I communicate.

But, yes. My 6 daughters use it. I think it is dumb.
