Wondering if anyone had information on this. I can't seem to find a price estimate for this coin.

That was a bronze coin. The one i have is pure silver and 156 out of 1000 with proof of authenticity. I have been looking for one like it there are 999 more that someone has had to sell. I purchased the coin new and have never found another one. Thanks for the link of the one you found.

Yikes- what a clownish portrait on that! Still a neat item, though.

Isn't the Charleston mint similar to like the Franklin mint?

No idea on this and not a lot of information. Worth at least melt and whatever anyone would want to pay for it beyond that to have it.

I have a package of M&N's that went up on one of the shuttles. Astronauts mother gave it to us. I think it is only worth melt.

It has a NASA mission/inventory tag on it. But, the tag, as applied at the time, did not state the mission number.

I edited my post because I thought you might have meant M&Ms and they melt in you mouth (so only worth their taste) and not in your hand. It would also be something that a mom would give you...:)

It is a package of about a dozen M&M's vacuum packed in a clear bag. I put it away somewhere in a jewelry box. I know the rules - no pics it didn't happen. I must dig it out.

Thanks for the attempt, i will toe tag it as melt for now and keep looking. Might have to write nasa and see if they have some information about it?
