I would like to put together a set of circulating coinage of India for 2019. My grandson is 1/2 India-Indian, 1/4 Japanese and 1/4 white. I have the 2019 proof set (US) and BOTH mint sets from Japan (two emperors), but would really like to have a set from India. I have seen some people from India posting here and would love to exchange either cash or US coins for Indian coins. Thanks.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

This belongs in the "Trades" or "Want Lists" forums, towards the bottom of the forum list.

I agree, but wanted more coverage. How often do you check the "Trades" or "Want" forums?

I have a few Indian friends, so I will keep an eye on this thread, to see what response you get, as I see what I can do for you.

I am sure that I would be able to get them, but if you have better luck getting them more directly, instead of 3rd or 4th hand, I think you would prefer that, as it would be quicker.

I looked on e-bay but quickly got bogged down. I contacted two Indian sellers, but they had only the 2 and 5 rupee coins from 2019.

I’m guessing they don’t make mint sets..??

My people could talk to their families in Indian, and have a ‘set’ in a few weeks.

Actually, one guy was going to give me half the cost of shipping for a package (candy, snacks, laundry pods, baby wipes, etc...), that I just mailed to some service members, I’ll ask him to do this task as his donation.

Try your search with MA Shops or V Coins. Dozens of dealers there.

I'm not sure many are interested in 2019 coins.
