We're talking about Dan Carr's work here, and while I guess you could carry one of his coins as a pocket piece, I'm not sure exactly how that got us to ranting about anything else edited

    Z-
So the “nice” people comment on my part was apparently misplaced.
You do realize you just accused me of exactly what you are doing. Namely being inflexible.
I agreed with those two sentences because they were true. They didn’t say what you think they said, but they were true.

“You seem not to buy into the fact that the truth is the truth and a fabrication is a fabrication irrespective of situation.”

I do buy that. And you don’t buy that that “fabrication irrespective of situation” can have different names as the situation changes as I have; Explained, Analogized, And Given Examples Of. You have put your stock in the fact that you have more knowledge of coins, which you do. This allows you to try and say it’s settled or my nuance is diarrhea. That is called The Fallacy of Expertise (argumentum ad verecundiam) and the Head Homie of Logic don’t play THAT game.

It is absolutely not the same thing as the moon or everyone would call it the back. You do realize that there are other scholarly pursuits that do not use the nomenclature that Numismatists use right? Are they also dead ATS members? You want to be snide about it fine, but veering into snobby is not a good look for you on this one.

And it doesn’t take a genius to know why someone called it the reverse seeing as you observe the front, but that wasn’t what I politely asked you to explain now was it?

Just ask google the origin of the words obverse and reverse and it becomes pretty clear, pretty quick.

But WE sir, are your jury here on CoinTalk, and by REFUSING to acknowledge and use very plain and commonly accepted terminology (including Obverse, Reverse, and Counterfeit) after REPEATED admonishments to the same, you clearly reflect the heights of your intellectual disability, or is that depths of your intentional ignorance? And by continuing to attempt to coerce your jury to accept inaccurate language reveals an arrogance and contempt on your part that is WORTHY of contempt in return.

I suggest sir, that YOUR contempt, your inflexibility, and your 'playful ignorance' is what has initiated our contempt. I used the term 'playful ignorance' because I have a difficult time believing that anyone self-proclaiming to be associated with the legal profession can be this retarded.

Of course I've been wrong before.

You exhibit a complete unwillingness to 'learn,' so no further discourse will be required. Welcome to the ignore button.

    P.S.: your grammar sucks too.

I was trying to make a point off of TVO's earlier suggestion that a coin created as a counterfeit ceases to be a counterfeit if the current owner's intent is alternate to its creator.

One day it's a counterfeit, the next day it's not, depending upon 'attitude.' edited

    Same fractured thinking IMHO.

I don’t refuse to use those terms. The only reason I was not using them was to prove a point, but if you are going to take your ball and go home then have fun with your blanket and glass of warm milk. I hope your mommy makes you feel better.

It was a horrible analogy for many reasons. Have fun in your bunker.
