I hope you meant SEGS rather than SGS, Isaiah. SEGS is reliable for authentication. I wouldn't trust SGS to slab my pocket change (come to think of it, that's what they do for a living!)
The coin is real and bottle with the coin in it was worth a LOT more than the coins is. I have that book and have read it as well. I also tipped into my copy 24 pages of notes listing errors in the book. Although SGS lists that they accept outside submissions many people who have tried to submit have received their coins back with notices that due to excessive backlog they are not accepting more coins at this time. But they always have plenty of their own coins in slabs. SGS ispretty much a self slabber that tries to pass themselves off as a legitimate company by advertising that they take outside submissions and then they don't do so. Try ANACS, they're cheap and respected.
Sure, why not! Use: CGS! [Counterfeits-R-US Grading Service]. While you are there get Yoko slabbed for us, also.
