I love these hilarious discussions. It’s like complaining about the rain. People have strong opinions but at the end of the day LITERALLY NOTHING COMES OUT OF IT

Derp? The response wasn't addressed to you, as it's apparent when asked if you understand your statements meaning, a positive and negative response is received, we probably haven't a linguistic basis for communication. I have better communications with my Grand-daughters' Corgi.

@Virginian is believed to understand my response to a subject that can vary appreciably by jurisdiction/Jurist. Enough Said!

Except he wasn't responding to YOUR claim/allegation - which I don't even think you had made when he wrote that post. Might help to actually read the posts, and the posts they quote and are responding to. Just a suggestion.

Is there an answer in there somewhere to my question which you quoted?

However, to me, who cares not one way or the other about Mr. Carr and his products but is amused by this discussion, you seem to have a chip on your shoulder about this subject. Only you can look inside and honestly determine that . . . I'm just telling you the way it seems to me, someone who (again) does not care one way or the other about Mr. Carr and his products.

If you consider me asking a logical question about % of rejects and having to read a bunch of :yack::yack::yack: from Carr "haters" a chip, then yes I have one and it is getting bigger! :(

Cost of ACCURATE test, if you don't own the equipment. Hand-held devices not good enough for me to put on a label.

We shall see if that is true in this particular case. ;)

Up at the top of the thread, you should see a "Thread Tools" menu with an "Ignore Thread" option. Also, right next to it, there's an "Unwatch Thread" option. Either of those should save you.

Listen you ridiculous dude, it’s real simple, he denied denigrating Carr’s work. In a subsequent post he referred to Carr’s work as “crap” which by itself is an act of denigration. The irony is what made it hilarious.

Here you are two days later telling one of the primary participants of the conversation to learn how to read, you need to find a mirror!

After looking at his site I would say:
    50%crap
48% stuff that might be crap or it might just not be my cup of tea
    2% Pure Beauty

I think it's the 2% which drives the clamor and market for the other 98%.

Yes, there is, which would be established under mutual "discovery" and "due process" action. I haven't yet received a summons or subpoena.

You have entered a private? forum without disclosure of your credentials for requesting/demanding? my voluminous private ~80 year believed relatively unparalleled educational history.

I've civilly publicly requested closure of this thread to avoid the process realized here in the past, believed being deteriorated by a negative agenda.

I'm fallible, so if you have a specific challenge/precedent to statements posted here, please cite same, as I've stated a possible predisposition to an adverse condition.

I would rather see him spend his time and effort on truly original work, when he does, it's pretty good. Long ago I was trying to figure out how to proceed in making coins of my own and contacted him to ask how he does it. I didnt no go the same way as I believe he was using a cad program to etch dies with a cnc milling machine (I think that was him, I contacted several people) and I didn't want to invest in one....although I did end up buying a 50 ton press. I thinks its cool to make coins that harken to old designs but overstrikes I don't understand why (whether you think they are forgeries or dangerous or whatever). He has all that cool equipment, he should produce more original stuff...just an opinion...I just wonder why he does that. Gotta respect them made. Not easy minting a coin. I have only minted a handful and each one is a serious chore doing it in the low tech way that I do it. This coin isn't an original design either but I mostly try to stick to original designs.

This is true, there was only an insinuation of such with the question about what happens with the next person. This is where you all seem to get in the weeds and not be able to understand how to process the facts of each coin to decide if it is counterfeit.

I completely disagree with this entire post. I think. Do his two actual quarters count? Cause I like them. The rest of his 100% original does nothing for me. I think. I doubt I have seen it all.

And yet, while I really like some of his original work, it's the overstrikes that grab my attention. I've always been a sucker for "what if". That's probably the same thing that makes patterns so compelling to me.
