That's a great coin! Caracalla does look tough there. Now to explore the reverse... who do you think was a poor emperor that many think effective? Why?

Think of me as Tigellinus was to nero ;) A type of Yes man who serve and shared all the dirty work of dictator and at the end just switch fast his alliance to the new guy in charge ;)

Although I'd like to learn more about you and your world view... I should bail. This thread is about the coins of Caracalla. We are getting off topic. Best to you, more coins, less opinions.

The weak emperor in my eyes are Nerva and Antonius Pius.

I know... and I'm sorry to the readers of this thread. I knew what I was getting into and did it anyway. I just like chatting sometimes but YES... we're off topic. Let's see the coins and talk about dating provincial portraits. I'll restrain myself from replying further until it's about coins. Thanks for pulling me back.

I also apologize for going off topic and I did not wanted to talk about my opinion on Caracalla further here but had to answer the questions addressed to me.
