Nice one. The Outllaws did a good cover of that. Got turned on to that by a Deadhead I went to school with. Kept his watch 5 minutes slow 'so I have 5 minutes.' ...Ironically --or not; crossover comes in many guises-- around the same time, Grateful Dead covers were my first serious introduction to Hank Williams, Sr.

Robinjojo, I'm tempted to respond with theologically inappropriate language. Followed by some that's inappropriate on a broader level. That is One (..., ...) Bar Kochba shekel. I can't read the (beautifully archaic) Hebrew; what year is this?

...Rats, no pics of my Sasanians. Could someone do better than another one? Except, Alegandron, that one's truly terrific, starting with how late the reign is.

Bust that looks nothing like a bust (well, okay, a face): COINS, FRANCE, BLOIS, EARLIEST.jpg
County of Blois, anonymous denier, c. 980-1030. (Corresponding to Comte Eudes II, 996-1037; a contemporary and regional rival of the infamous Comte Fulques Nerra of Anjou. Duplessy 575.) Yeah, the progressive abstraction of the 'Bleso-Chartrain' /'Chinonais' portraits has been compared to Celtic precedent, along with (from one dealer) 'le style Cubiste.'
Um, um, next one: Trees. --No idea where that's supposed to go, but the hope is that other people have better ideas than I do.

Oops, JayAg47, you beat me! No great loss. Your Domitian as princeps (orthography--?) is very cool. ...Does that motif show up, later, with posthumous 'DIVVS' issues?

It has been 30 hours and no Antoninus Pius of Alexandria. How about one issued by him for his daughter? I like the way it spells out twelve, rather than uses numerals.
