It's easy to learn. Just play with it. In the reply window, hit the "Upload a File" button and select the files you wish to be displayed.

Ok so I, along with my husband have been collecting coins for several years. As a cashier I started out buying wheat pennies from my cash drawer as a contribution to my husband's hobby. Anyhow I still have no idea what I'm looking for as far as valuable coins because mostly I look for older coins or coins that look odd or off for whatever reason. By far my coolest find and oldest coin to date is a 1907 indian head penny. So last week I buy my usual coins that peaked my curiosity and I came across this 2016 Philadelphia mint dime. It caught my eye because it looked like an older coin because of the color. I was caught off guard by the date. I tried go take some good clear pictures but as amateur collectors we do not have the 'professional' equipment to get a clear vividly detailed picture. Any thoughts or opinions on this or does it look odd to anyone else? Just wondering if its its all in my mind 20200907_141256.jpg 20200907_141715.jpg 20200907_141256.jpg

Hi @Candi Everett welcome to CT. Your images are good, the only thing you need to do when they are on your pc is crop them to the edges of the coin. They enlarge even further and members here can get a good look at the area(s) in question.
Also try to post them in a relevant section, as this one doesn't get too many views.
Again welcome onboard the crazy train

Hi Mike, welcome to CT. You need to post your enquiry on a forum page like coin chat or error coins. When you have typed your question, upload your fotos with the upload a file button. When they have loaded click the full image button for each foto and then click create post. A lot of experienced members will see your post and answer you only if you include the fotos, in focus and from directly above the coin(s).

@expat is correct, but let me take a stab...pennies (or cents) without a mint mark are made in Philadelphia. Only certain years have the P mint mark. D is for Denver and S is for San Francisco. Missing letters are caused by the die filling up with grease or debris and isn't worth any premium. The FG on the back is the designer's initials and the guy in the Lincoln Memorial is...................Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln pennies have been around since 1909. Welcome to CT
