Looking at the photos again, I still don't see anything that would lead me to be suspicious of it being a fake. Looks like a pretty nice planchet, appropriate wear, nothing I would associate with a cast fake.

Isaiah, look at the wear pattern on the obverse. I have seen many cast/electrotype counterfeits and none of them can easily reproduce that pattern. Furthermore, I don't see any problems with the fabric of the coin. Tell you what, open the image of the halfpenny in paint and draw little arrows to what you think are problem areas.

Does your mommy know your playing coin collector again?

I sure hope she buys you a new shiny helmet because the one you wearing now doesnt seem to be helping. (Waterhead)

You have failed to answer any of my questions on how you became so knowlegable of the counterfeits?

Your downright abusive and shall be blocked, but just so you know, I have read the definitive illustrated 1976 edition of "the standard catalog of counterfeit and altered coins" it features a length section on your coin, abuser. Also I have 2 counterfeits, and 6 colonials. Have a merry Christmas.

The chance your $7 Trade Dollar purchased from Asia is virtually zero. I have a better chance of being Santa Clause. The fact that you are so adamant about it being real and your history of calling obviously authentic coins counterfeit shows either your extreme ignorance for the hobby or your love of troll-like behavior. I'm honestly not sure which is true.

neither is true. It is the correct weight. 4 independent reputable dealers have told me it's authentic, and there is absolutely no lack of detail nor any sign of a counterfeit.
