    Someone polished that coin.
    The reverse are just gouges from circulation.
    I can't see anything on Abe's lip nor do I see any indication of an RPM.

    Check out coppercoins.com. That will help you immensely when looking for these things.

    The 1955 is cleaned / polished.
    The 1978 is PMD.

    The 2nd one is damaged. You can see metal moved to the sides from the gouge on his nose.

    The first one had a few damaged cuts on the reverse. I see no signs of an RPM, it's been over cleaned or polished and other worth face value.
