A friend sent me this asking where its from, anyone have an idea? If its an authentic historical piece of course. Solid copper evidenced by the green tarnish.

I concur. It is a relatively modern cast replica intended to represent an ancient coin. It might be an old tourist fake, but not ancient. It's definitely a fake, I'm afraid.
