It's frosty This 1928 has fewer problems & the cheek is frosty. I bought it at the Colorado Springs coin show this summer in an NGC holder. Very best regards, collect89
The 1928 P Peace dollar was mine and yes it is a quote "problem coin" but it is definetely authentic and I back my coins 100%. I have a good return policy and I stated the defects on the coin. You know if I still collected coins this one would NOT be in my collection but for a lot of people ANY 28 P can fill there hole in the set until a better one comes along.
It really depends. What is the price? If it's reasonable, go ahead. You don't need our approval to buy. For example- despite the suggestion of some I still buy SGS coins. Not to mention I really enjoy them.
I felt the same way when I started collecting. Today, although my budget is still very low...I feel that I have changed that as I have begun to understand problem coins better. I don't know how much your asking for this coin, but it does have very nice details. I'd probably say it has XF details or so. I'd rather pick up a problem free coin in G or VG than purchase a higher details problem coin. That's just my opinion though.
:loud: Well when you get married just let me know if you need a great band for your wedding/ I will except coins instead of cash. :loud:I will like a XF to unc doubled die that would take care of the whole fee Jazzcoins Joe
