But, the fields don't look like they are glassy smooth to me. I agree with you on the devices...but the fields don't match this general description. That could mean it's authentic, it could also mean that it is counterfeit and made using dies that weren't polished much.

The pitting PCGS is talking about looks entirely different from this. I think this coin was face down on a sidewalk and got stepped on.

Do you have a photo from your collection of a Spark-Erosion Counterfeit? Seems kindof odd I know, but I never have seen a good photo of one of these and wouldn't know one if it jumped up and down ;)

I looks original to me. It just looks like it was pressed between something, however a vise leaves different marks. Coin looks original just not attractive to my eye, that's why I would not be interested in it.

They mean the coin has damage to the extent that it looks like someone put it on the ground and walked on it. It looks like it was driven into the concrete. I would seriously avoid this coin, but ultimately it's your choice.

sounds like your a gonner. Their was a thread last week about a guy that made rings out of old US silver coins, they were smokin, at least a 94 out of a 100. I bet you could place a diamond on one.:)

There is more than 1 way to take that - gonner - CF. Pretty sure he means that you are a gonner over the girl - as in crazy about her.

No nothing bad, I'm just saying your a gonner cause it sounds your head over heals for this girl. My buddies called me that when I met the chick that I'm married to. I've loved every minute of it. It sounds like you've got a good one she's "hot as you say" and loves coins best of both worlds.

Honest ment no harm, sorry if i offended.
