1992 P Roosevelt Poss double ear?

    I can't tell if this is from the worn out die or if the ear is doubled. I couldn't find anything to refer to on the webs. could it be?

    No Added Value-It covers all the types of Doubling. DDD (die deteration doubling), MD (mechanical doubling), etc.

    I have one more I'm little confused by. I see all the DDD in the leaves and branches, but the right side of the torch is a bit different. Same crumbly doubling?

    yes there are, I am getting more confident in what I see and what disregard. Sometimes still not sure.

    The same goes for all of honest collectors. On that last dime, I see what you mean but it's worn to much to be sure but I'd say it's a form of NAV Doubling, probably DDD.
