Here she is!! http://www.vcoins.com/ancient/glennwoods/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=7755&large=0 What do you think of her? Thoughts, opinions? Phoenix
Thanks. Yep, I have two right now, (I have a gallery already set up in my profile, lol), and I have my eyes on another Gorgon that I will hopefully buy after Christmas. Thanks Anthony!! Thanks man. Phoenix
I love it! Any coin that's got a Gorgon on it HAS to be cool, no matter what I think of my ex-wife's mother. Seriously, that's a very cool looking piece.
Very nice looking coin Phoenix! I really like the teeth on the Gorgon! I think it's a very fine example.
Its a great example of the type!! I just met Glenn Woods at the Houston money show here just recently. I bought a coin from him there....he has a great collection.
Lol, thanks!! Finally a coin everyone likes. Thanks man!! I appreciate it. :high5: Thanks!! And you are right on the grade too. Thanks Drusus, I appreciate the comment. Phoenix
BTW, I checked the status of my order, and it says it's already in the mail! It should hopefully arrive in 3-4 days, I'll let you guys know when it gets here. Phoenix
The coin came today, and I'm pleased. The coin is a little lighter in hand, but is still nice IMHO. Only two problems, but not biggies. Why'd they have to make these guys so small?? (I knew it was going to be small though, lol). And, on the reciept Mr. Woods put "Thanks again". However, I don't remember every buying from him before, lol? The only people I have bought/traded ancient coins with is lordmcovan on CU, and stainless? Just a little weird IMHO, maybe he has me confused with someone else. Phoenix
I have that problem with Medusa Coinage also, I wish I could find the facing Gorgons bigger than 15mm. There are some, but are more expensive. They are still nice though. Did you guys have contact while this deal was going through? Is so, he probably already thanked you, and "Thanks Again" was just him thanking you a second time for this order. stainless
I don't believe we did (I'll have to check my email), but this sounds like the more logical and probable answer. :thumb: Phoenix
