focus the 4100 never had an update tot he firmware. then how cna yu say its never been updated

as far asi know the 4100 never had a firmware update. yet you told me i had not updated it. explain

 

If you have an unmodified image it will contain the camera used in the
EXIF info. You can use free software such as Irfanview with it's plug ins
to look at this info. At least one manufacturer that uses this prefix is
Nikon.

You can Google anything these days.

You can also see the details just by looking at the properties of the file and select summary. Anyone can do it and photographers use this info to look at camera settings
