Hrm....will have to consult to see when I am on call in January. If I can make it, I would love to join up with anyone else.

I will know better tomorrow when I go back to work - working from my living room couch - that is.

I just made arrangments to do a Chicago show in '09, June I think. I'll take you up on that beer !

I did 4 out of state show arrangments this morning, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago and Coinfest. I hope to meet a bunch of you in 09' !!

 

That's a show I have always wanted to attend but never have. I mostly go to the Auburn show [second Sunday]. It's the same promoter- Ernie.
My work schedule is every other weekend. Some months I am off and able to go. Others I have to work and can't go.
Also I wonder if anyone would be interested in splitting the cost of a table?
Auburn is $70 for a 8 foot table if you can get it. But I see the Westford show is only $50 for a 6 foot table. That would be $25 each for 3 feet of space.
That's enough to put a display case out.

I dont have my paperwork with me, but the Chicago is actually a ( Shumburg ) or something like it, a bigger show, and I think it's summer. Coinfest got rave reviews, it is in New England somewhere ( CT I think ) and in the fall. FUN might be on the list as well, I'll see as I go. If I do FUN, it will be with another AZ dealer here, we will split the table. Would like to do a Texas show as well.

 

Let me know which show and I'll try to make it. Vegas is only 1 1/2 hours away.

Wish I could make a show with Peter, but New England is a bit too far away and way too cold to be able to make it with such short notice.

Coinfest is near Stamford, CT. I missed it this past winter due to other issues, I really hope to make the next one.

How far off of I-495 is Westford? I usually take 495 on our yearly trip to York Beach Maine or to Pats games as I'm a season ticket holder.

 

Schaumburg probably, a suburb of Chicago.

Coinfest is in Stamford, CT, which is in that little southwest tip of the state, I think 7 miles up I-95 from the NY border, it took me 35 mins to get there from where I live in New Jersey.

 

Schaumburg is a far Western suburb about 20 to 30 mile west of the city limits , about an hours drive .

I would like to go with you if you don't mind a novice tagging along trying to learn a thing or two.

Like some of the others though I need to wait till the date gets a little closer to see how things look. The date has been marked in the calendar.

 

Just double checked the on-call schedule, I am on call that week/weekend and I am not going to be able to make this one.....sorry. Maybe at a later one I can join up with some fellow CT'ers.......
