1944 D over S Perhaps

Been a while since I been on, but never stopped coin collecting. I was looking over some coins I had and ran across this 1944 Lincoln cent. After taking photos and examining it further it seems to me that it just might be the 1944 d over S Lincoln cent. Would love your honest opinion and if I'm correct how much would this beauty be worth.

I'm just a less intelligent newbie, but I would say if anything, its an S.

Not sure if there is a D hiding under there anywhere, but definitely not a D over an S.

Really? When I zoom in really close, right above the mint mark it appears to be something protruding out to me.

None of your attachments can be viewed. From your pic it looks like an S only

 

that may be shelf like mechanical doubling.

Yeah, uh no, even enlarging your one photo I can't see any indications of RPM.
BTW, how is Sac fairing during this endemic? Some of my friends still work there.

 

The two 1944-D/S Lincoln Cent varieties have a "D" as the dominant mint mark.

 

Just a normal S Mint Mark.
What you see could be some toning.

 

I think there's a strong possibility of it being a WT error . . .

WT Variety.. OMM fall in the variety category not errors.

 

You have valid point. In this case it certainly could be argued that the WT is "in error" . . . . .

 

Take a look at the new pics I uploaded. Found what it looks to be another s mintmark below it.

 

Forgive me, but I should know this by now. What does WT stand for again. OMM is over mint mark I know,
