    The purpose of "Jabberwocky" is delight and fun. It is nonsense verse of the highest order. According to Martin Gardner, editor of The Annotated Alice, "Few would dispute the fact that 'Jabberwocky' is the greatest of all nonsense poems in English."

    Apparently he could of been an academic as he got a double first in maths, but he married his cousin Frances Jane Lutwidge (her family name and his middle name are the same) and became a parson.

    Don't put much faith in youtube videos, while there are some helpful ones, there are many that are just rubbish. Once you learn enough to tell the difference then you can sort them out. The first quarter you posted looks totally normal, the others are just damaged , except the two slabbed blanks.
