I added a few new Spanish civil war notes recently. There are some fascinating notes in this 1936/1937/1938 timeframe. Alicante Roses de Llobregat Verges Vilademat Solsona
One last entry of recent Spanish civil war notes Alcaniz Cornella de Llobregat Denia Les Franqueses Gramenet del Besos
Two new notes for me today: Afghanistan - 1381 (2002) 20 Afghanis I now have this series complete from 1-20 Afghanis. The higher denominations are a bit harder to find, so I don't expect to make any more progress in the immediate future. Cyprus - 2004 1 Lira This is the 52nd country for my OFEC set.
Just got this lot of 6 1988A Web Press $1 notes in the mail. I found it fitting for 2020 that they were from the FU block 4/8 plate combo, all CH UNC!
Started working on a set of Indian notes by design. Here's a replacement 1 Rupee from 2015: Also one more for the OFEC set, Myanmar:
I don't usually post notes, but here are a few specimens I recently picked up: Hungary People's Republic (1949-1989) 10 Forint (1957-1975) P-168 1975 Specimen P-168es Hungary People's Republic (1949-1989) 20 Forint (1957-1980) P-169 1975 Specimen P-169s3 Hungary Republic (1989-date) 100 Forint (1992-1995) P-174 1992 Specimen P-174as (serial #100) 1992 marked a minor redesign of all banknotes, as these were the first issues produced after the end of the Soviet era. Of note, I consider this to be fancy as specimen issues were serialized and this is a 100 forint specimen with serial number 100.
Been on an Irish kick lately: This one is cool, a large note, anachronistic design, and still handsigned in 1965! And a ploughman: And several more not yet imaged.
The real McCoy, not the Operation Bernhard note. The following is an earlier version of the horseblanket Royal Bank £1 that isn't colourised like the 1920 version: Here is the colourised version that came out starting in 1920:
