Aside from being a 1989 Gen. 2 slab, I don't see any difference.

 

The coin is mounted reverse-side-up, although I understand you can request it be done that way if you desire.

Well it's not visual, but it is the reason it was beaned. Those are conflicting clues. Can't bean a coin unless you see something! lol

 

The only other thing I see/know is that it appears to be the only Hudson doily making it one of a kind. According to the census only 79 reported 50C commemoratives exist and this one isn’t on the list meaning this would be the first one reported and the only survivor known.

Considering it's the only Hudson doily known to exist you don't think that played a part into it being beaned?
