Exactly the reply I expected, all fluffery and no substance. A real man steps up to the task, so what does that make you. :chicken::chicken::chicken::chicken::chicken:

Your photos are pretty much useless.
These look like run of the mill ikes.
If you want better answers then please provide better photos of the coins, and post them in the full size format.
Randys answer still stands as the correct one,
You have accsess to hundreds of years of collector knowledge here on CT. Your attitude determines how much of the kbowledge members are willing to share. Good luck.

I am not going to offer my coin resume here. I offered my apologies as I didn’t realize you were pursuing a variety expert. This place is loaded with more down to earth genuine coin knowledge than I gleaned by myself in my fifty year collecting career...... But here’s the deal. There are infinite ways to approach coin collecting. And there are experts here that represent each and every genre of collecting. Thing is, we help each other and we value each other’s area of expertise. Further, we do that in a polite manner because we recognize that each person here is offering their expertise from the goodness of their hearts.... So please, let’s just tone down the rhetoric just a bit. I genuinely do not wish to see any of my friends here get dinged by the management.

What have I done wrong? Somebody tried to impart something as fact and they were wrong. Then his other metalwork buddies join in too, and then threaten to deprive me of their knowledge and wisdom about coins!

I believe you have totally misunderstood the comment. Sure there exists high $ coins in every type but they are very rare. The ones you have are NOT. You will spend money on grading via a TPG and and for the most part have more $ tied up in grading and postage fees than the coins are worth.
Your $. Your decision, make a wise one.

Try using your right hand to type. Cause the left hand is doing nothing other than making rookie excuses and using deflection to try and not look foolish.
We get this on a regular basis.
It isn't a good look for a new member.
If you want help. Get better photos
    Post them in full size.
Most Ikes are worthless (face value) unless they are in high grade. Or a rare variety.

If you want answers just start over. Forgive and Forgot and move on.

I have been looking for the reason for the Bowers auction that brought that crazy price but I'm not able to find it. I probably bid in that auction but don't have the information any longer.

Doublediamond, look closely at that PCGS page you indicated and read the line that says PCGS price guide for that coin currently, and it is $10. So stop this childish exchange. If you want to stay a viable member change the attitude. Whether you are well versed in this coin category and trying to get reactions or really not well versed and being obtuse, neither is acceptable. It is not acceptable .

Let me get this right, so it says a 1976-D type-1 MS65 is worth $10?

IKE dollars are an interesting area to study. Grading gets really crazy because the standards are different based on each coin type. MS-64 on down won't cover the grading cost. Some MS-65 coins start having more value. MS-66 and higher can bring stronger prices to those that collect them.
With that said, the price guides are all over the place.
