Does anyone have high quality pics of Frankin Half Dollars with the full bell lines? Any online sites that will show the same?
Well here's a real full bell cracked bell with full bell lines can't get any better then this. The second image is a frankie boy with FBL Jazzcoins Joe
There is a good verbal description here: http://www.coincentric.com/GradingFranklinHalves.htm For lots of pictures, go to Heritage Auctions (www.ha.com) and search for FBL coins. Then, look at the images and zoom in on the bell lines. This will give you a detailed visual representation.
Nice Larry! the toning is unusual for a Franklin. But full bell and great details. Do you have a front? Also it is kind of weird to have FBL's and less details on the top. Ruben
I agree. Although the bottom bell lines are the ones normally examined, I believe to be FBL the top lines must be complete too. I would think a good guideline would be a proof coin. Same thing applies to FB Mercs. Everyone looks at the middle pair, but the top and bottom pairs are supposed to be full too.
It's my image that's weird. Dark coin shot with lots of light to bring out the lines. It's only a 65.
