i always got proof sets as a gift from my relatives. this year is nothing. partly due to financial crisis and partly due to tire of giving me the same things.
That's a nice present. I love the looks of those old commemoriatives. I need to pick up one or two at some point.

My wife asked me what I want for Xmas. I gave her a list. Then she tells me to forget what was on the list. So, officially I don't know what I'm going to get. (But unofficially I've got a REAL goodie coming.)
My wife will only do modern commems for gift giving. I'm hoping for a Vietnam Vets commem this Christmas.
